"Design a presidential rostrum for #14j

"Design a presidential rostrum for the #14juillet that welcomes 1,500 guests, the press and the government". The year was 1990, and designer Marie-Christine Dorner had no idea that François Mitterrand, Jacques Chirac, Nicolas Sarkozy, François Hollande and Emmanuel Macron would be stepping onto her podium. Why? because Marie-Christine, as a good designer, planned a telegenic, practical and economical piece of equipment, which could be dismantled without limit and therefore stored. This presidential stand is also festive, with its high wind and 1500m2 metal-textile structure symbolizing a giant flag in the colors of France, whose movement can change from year to year. It offers Narandra Modi an exceptional view from the Place de la Concorde, as there are no pillars to block the view, and everything is designed to cantilever over the rear pillars.Good design takes time, confirms the words of its designer M.C.
